Modde Farms, bordering Lamton county
a fourth generation family farm owned and operated by Dave and Dan Modde. Corn, Soybeans, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Sugar
beets and Sweet corn has been grown on that soil. As the years have
passed they have focused their energy on growing corn and soybeans.
Just to keep a little busier, they Custom Combine
& Plant. With the
agriculture business changing, they see more and more farmers working off the
farm; and with a lack of time and machinery hope to make their custom work an
advantage to both parties.
In the fall of 2005, Dave & Dan joined Country Farm Seeds
Limited. Country Farms Seeds carries a great line of corn and soybean
varieties to provide all of Dave & Dan’s past and future customers with an
excellent choice when purchasing their seed.

Together with Country Farm Seeds Dave & Dan have planted a
test plot, with 21 corn varieties a combination of registered and
experimentals; and have also personally grown CF870YGCB, corn and CF2603RN,
soybeans.
