Tom Thomson and his son Brennan run a small farm located on the north shore of the beautiful Rice Lake near Keene.
Tom is the third generation on the farm, which has been in his family since 1854 when it was purchased from the crown. Brennan and Eric (Brennan’s son) are proudly following in the path of their father and grandfather.
Tom farms cattle, sheep and grain but also has timber from a managed forest. The occasional stray lamb will greet visitors to Tom’s farm. In addition to farming, Tom owns and runs an automotive type air-conditioning business and is selling
Country Farm Seeds corn and soybeans.
Tom has the distinction of being located just down the road from this year 2006 International Plowing Match. Tom has plots of CF S100 corn, CF299YGCB corn and CF0805 soybeans located on the road to the Match, so look for the
Country Farm Seeds signs. Hope to see you at the Plowing Match.
